A born and raised New Mexican, Tya loves the outdoors- hiking camping and spotting native wildlife. After acquiring a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of New Mexico, she wanted to continue an active lifestyle and soon stumbled upon Pilates. Having been a volleyball player, she loved the low impact workouts and focus on core strength Pilates provides. Tya’s passion for Pilates continues to grow and be infectious to those around her. In her workouts Tya likes to focus on form, creating a connection between mind and body, as well as improving physical and mental well-being. Tya’s biggest pleasure comes from improving people’s day with an awesome workout.
